"Northgate Community Centre, Crawley 29th April 1979. Poster design possibly by the campaign's beneficiary - Anthony Weaver. "Dr" Weaver, had been The Cure's languages teacher. The "Support" was to raise funds following his expulsion from Crawley College for allegedly committing "a gross act of public indecency". Amulet had supported the Cure back in 1976. Robert recalls "The NF [National Front] turned up........ The whole night was a disaster really, pure violence from beginning to end.......
