In January 1987, Robert Smith recorded more vocals (???) and finished the mixing of the new album with Dave Allen at ICP Studios in Brussels. After that, Robert Smith flew on to Ireland, where the rest of the band joined him for rehearsals in preparation for The Cure's first South American tour.
