On 10 April 1989, The Cure released their new single entitled Lullaby, taken from the band's forthcoming LP Disintegration. It's backed with two additional new tracks, Babble and Out Of Mind. All formats are available, issued through Fiction Records.

The original UK 7inch pressing [FICS 29] features remix of Lullaby b/w Babble as a B-side. Two limited editions of the 7inch pressing were issued in the United Kingdom, both were limited to 10,000 copies. The first edition [FICSG 29] had a gatefold sleeve. Shortly after, the second one was a 7inch clear vinyl [FICSP 29] issued in a clear PVC picture sleeve. Both of these limited editions have the same tracks as the 7inch.

The original UK 12inch pressing [FICSX 29] features extended remix of Lullaby b/w Babble and Out Of Mind as an extra track. Later, a limited edition of the 12inch pink vinyl [FICVX 29] was issued with the same three tracks.

The original UK 3inch CD [FICCD 29] features both remixes of Lullaby with Babble and Out Of Mind.

Single Lullaby entered the UK charts, where it would peak at number 5.
