HYDE PARK MOVIE

The Cure did their 40th anniversary show on 7 July 2018 in Hyde Park and it was filmed for further release. New live film entitled Anniversary 1978-2018 directed by Tim Pope will be in cinemas worldwide from July 11.

The Cure will headline Pasadena Daydream Festival curated by Robert Smith.

AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL

After six years The Cure will return to headline ACL Festival in October.

FINAL STUDIO ALBUM

After 11 long years The Cure recorded new material for the upcoming album.

Robert Smith told in the interview that the new material is dark and incredibly intense, they recorded 19 songs which are about ten minutes long.

New and the final album is expected to be out this October.

ANNIVERSARY DOCUMENTARY

According to Tim Pope, we will see this year chronological documentary of The Cure's history. Robert Smith will tell the story and this will work alongside other events for the band's 40-year celebration.

This film will include material from Robert's collection which has never been seen before: Super-8, interviews, bootlegs, rare performances, behind-the-scenes and more.
