SONGS OF A LOST WORLD
After 14 long years The Cure will release new material for their forthcoming album entitled Songs of a Lost World. New album will be out on 1st November 2024.
The album was written and arranged by Robert Smith, produced and mixed by Robert Smith and Paul Corkett. Songs of a Lost World was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales. Robert Smith created the sleeve concept, and Andy Vella - a long-time Cure collaborator - handled the album's art and design. The cover art features 'Bagatelle', a 1975 sculpture by Janez Pirnat. ANNIVERSARY DOCUMENTARY
According to Tim Pope, we will see this year chronological documentary of The Cure's history. Robert Smith will tell the story and this will work alongside other events for the band's 40-year celebration. This film will include material from Robert's collection which has never been seen before: Super-8, interviews, bootlegs, rare performances, behind-the-scenes and more.
