On 8 December 1979, The Cure did their first live TV special at Théâtre de l'Empire in Paris, France. They played songs like Killing An Arab, Boys Don't Cry, Jumping Someone Else's Train, Three Imaginary Boys, A Forest (this time called as At Night) and Seventeen Seconds. Unfortunately, only three songs were broadcasted. 9 mins (full show 35 mins)
Later it was broadcasted again on Europe 2 TV (30 mins) and Virgin 17 (35 mins).
Also, song Killing An Arab was broadcasted again on 15 January 1993 in the programme called Culture Rock on French TV channel M6. Another outtake from this show you can find in the programme Jam, broadcasted on 12 May 1996 on German TV channel Viva.
This show was released on Chorus DVD on 5 October 2010 by Ina.fr in France. Also there is unofficial DVD entitled Live in Glasgow in 2008 by BBC Films + DVD.
Just for fun... "Three Imaginary Boys" without Matthieu Hartley, he is sitting there, reading some newspapers.
There is an advert published in NME (24/11/1979) promoting this show as the part of the Future Pastimes tour scheduled on 3 December 1979. But it looks like this show has been postponed one week later, when The Cure moved to Europe for their first European tour.
