On 2 May 1989, The Cure released their new album entitled Disintegration. This 10-track album was recorded with producer David M. Allen. The cassette and CD versions will additionally contain another two tracks. Songs Last Dance and Homesick were available only on the CD or cassette release. Album Disintegration entered the UK charts, where it would peak at number 3.
